Air Rarotonga (GZ, Rarotonga) has announced its Pacific Private Jet (Rarotonga) unit has secured from the Cook Islands Ministry of Transport, its Air Operator's Certificate (AOC) covering passenger charter services. Further certification covering medevac operations is expected by August.
As previously reported, Pacific Private Jet will deploy its Cessna Citation II throughout the Cook Islands as well as the South Pacific at large. The 37-year-old twinjet has already been fitted with a gravel-kit to enable flights out of rough and unprepared airstrips.
