AeroVis Airlines (VIZ, Rivne) has applied to the US Department of Transportation (DOT) for a foreign air carrier permit to engage in scheduled and charter foreign air transportation of property and mail to and from the United States.
The carrier plans to initially start with ad-hoc cargo charters in the autumn of 2017, eventually providing eight flights per month using its two An-12A aircraft. UR-CBF (msn 2340507) is leased from Aviaoptim (which is owned by Aerovis Director Sergii Klimchenko), and UR-CCP (msn 2340505) is leased from AVFL Logistics, based in Cyprus.
In its application, Aerovis says that it plans to add an additional four AN-12A aircraft over the next two years.
