Flair Airlines (F8, Kelowna) has announced it has chosen Edmonton International to be its main transfer hub ahead of a planned network expansion.
The Canadian budget carrier said in a statement that effective December 15, it will include the Albertan metropolis in a network of flights emanating from Toronto Pearson, Vancouver International, and Kelowna.
"This is just the beginning of many more announcements such as this," Flair Airlines' Vice President (Commercial Operations), Christopher Lapointe, said. "We are adding more aircraft and as we do, our network will grow significantly."
Flair Airlines currently operates flights out of Abbotsford, Edmonton, Halifax, Hamilton, ON and Winnipeg International using a fleet of five B737-400s.
