Sterling Airlines (Copenhagen Kastrup) has suspended operations and filed for bankruptcy on October 29 after its Icelandic parent Northern Travel Holding could no longer finance the loss making low-cost carrier. It had operated 20 B737s on scheduled services out of Denmark, Norway and Sweden.
