Austrian Airlines (OS, Vienna) has confirmed it will conclude all Fokker Aircraft (Woensdrecht) operations with the advent of the new year.
In a statement, the Lufthansa Group unit said its last Fokker 100 commercial service would operate on Sunday, December 31, as flight OS 1100 Vienna-Pristina, Kosovo. Operations will be onboard OE-LVE (msn 11499). Until that time, Austrian will retain the aircraft on flights to Geneva and Chisinau International.
Austrian Airlines is replacing the outgoing Fokker jets with a fleet of seventeen E195s being transferred within Lufthansa Group from Lufthansa CityLine (CL, Munich).
