flydubai (FZ, Dubai International) has inked a firm order with Boeing (BOE, Washington National) for the purchase of 175 B737 MAX.
The deal also includes options for an additional fifty jets. It was first announced during this year's edition of the Dubai Airshow as a commitment.
More than fifty of the first 175 aircraft will be B737-10s with the remainder to be made up by B737-8s and B737-9s.
flydubai has an existing order for seventy-five B737 MAXs due for delivery by 2023. Thus far, five have been delivered.
