Turkish Airlines (TK, Istanbul Airport) will launch B737-8 operations on July 30, 2018 with daily flights out of Istanbul Atatürk to each of Ankara Esenboga and Cologne/Bonn, ch-aviation schedule analysis has revealed.

The type will subsequently be introduced on the routes to Chisinau International, Izmir Adnan Menderes (both starting on August 27), Dalaman (on August 28), Lefkosa (on August 29), and Bodrum Milas (on September 2). Other destinations include Adana, Algiers, Bremen Hans Koschnick, Catania, Diyarbakir, Kayseri, Leipzig/Halle, Muscat, and Oran Ahmed Ben Bella.

The Turkish flag carrier has seventy-five B737 MAX 8 on order from Boeing. In terms of existing B737 operations, it employs 107 B737-800s, fifteen B737-900(ER)s, and a single B737-700.
