Mission Aviation Fellowship International (Nampa Municipal) has placed an order with Textron Aviation for five Cessna (single turboprop) 208 Caravans with options for an additional two of the type.
The firm-ordered Cessna Aircraft Company aircraft will deliver this year and will be placed into service with Mission Aviation Fellowship of Papua New Guinea (Mount Hagen) by mid-2019.
Mission Aviation Fellowship is a Christian relief and development charity operating 125 light aircraft in over 30 countries. It has multiple AOCs across Africa, the Americas, Oceania, and Asia.
MAF Papua New Guinea currently operates one DHC-6-200, two DHC-6-300s, three Cessna 208Bs, six Gipps Airvan GA8s, and one Cessna (single piston) 172.
