Cambodia Airways (KR, Phnom Penh) has formally announced it will commence operations on July 10 with domestic flights from its Phnom Penh base to each of Siem Reap (daily) and Sihanoukville (3x weekly). Thereafter, effective July 21, it will start international flights from each of Phnom Penh, Siem Reap, and Sihanoukville to Macau International.
Operations are on-board a pair of recently delivered A319-100s on lease from Doric Asset Finance.
Cambodia Airways plans to operate a fleet of twenty A320 Family aircraft by 2023 focussing primarily on the Chinese and ASEAN market regions. It also plans to add A330s for flights to Europe and Australia although no date for their acquisition has been specified.
