Sahara African Aviation (Mbombela) has announced it has acquired a pair of E145s, the first jet aircraft to feature in its fleet of nine E120s.
“Sahara Aviation has for many years enjoyed a fruitful relationship with Embraer with our existing EMB-120 fleet," Trevor Brotherton, Sahara Aviation’s managing director, said. "As the needs of our clients grew in wanting bigger capacity aircraft, Sahara had no hesitation in turning to Embraer for our ERJ-145 acquisitions."
Sahara African Aviation specializes in ACMI/charter services with its existing clients known to include Mahogany Air in Zambia, LAM - Linhas Aéreas de Moçambique, AB Aviation in the Comoros, NRT Nationale Regionale Transport in Gabon, and Dakota Aviation in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
