Air New Zealand (NZ, Auckland International) has secured a B777-300(ER) on dry-lease from Taiwanese carrier EVA Air (BR, Taipei Taoyuan) as part of plans to mitigate the absence of its grounded B787-9 fleet.
According to Travel Talk, B-16715 (msn 33757) will deliver in August and will join an ex-Singapore Airlines B777-200(ER), ZK-OKI (msn 32336), which has been in service for Air New Zealand since mid-June.
Air New Zealand currently operates seven B777-300(ER)s and eight B777-200(ER)s.
