Peach Aviation (MM, Osaka Kansai) has converted two A320neo order slots into larger A321neo(LR)s. According to Airbus (AIB, Toulouse Blagnac), the two jets will be joining the Japanese low-cost carrier's fleet in 2020. Following this conversion, Peach's Airbus order book also entails seven A320ceos and eight A320neos.
Peach, a unit of ANA Holdings, currently operates twenty A320-200s on scheduled flights to 21 airports around Japan as well as in Thailand, Hong Kong, South Korea, Taiwan, and China. It will shortly begin merging with its smaller fellow member of the group, Vanilla Air (Tokyo Narita), as part of an overall bid to become Asia's "leading low-cost carrier". The incoming A321neo(LR)s will also allow it to expand into new medium-haul markets.
