airBaltic (BT, Riga) has welcomed statements by the transport ministers of the Baltic states that a single airline for all three states would make sense. It has added more flights from its Riga hub and out of Tallinn: Riga-Frankfurt Intl: daily B737-500 service has started on September 17 Riga-Geneva: 2x weekly B737-500 service has started on July 1 Riga-Tallinn-Lappeenranta: 4x weekly B737-500 service starting on November 12 Riga-Tallinn-Turku: daily Fokker 50 service has started on October 1 It has temporarily suspended its Riga-Linköping-Bergen/Stavanger routes for the winter season and will operate a four times weekly B737-300 service from Riga via Bergen to Stavanger during the winter timetable period.
