Bighorn Airways (BHR, Sheridan, WY) has acquired its first Dash 8-100 via a deal brokered by SkyQuest International. According to a statement, the Wyoming-based passenger charter specialist acquired N637AR (msn 265) from AAR Aircraft Sales & Leasing.
The 27-year-old turboprop was previously in service with EP Aviation (Washington Dulles) as N308RD and is currently undergoing pre-delivery maintenance at Great Falls.
As it stands, Bighorn Airways also operates three Do228s, CN-212s, and various Cessna Aircraft Company light aircraft and Bell Helicopters.
Founded in 1947, Bighorn Airways undertakes special-use missions, passenger charter, air ambulance, aerial application, and aerial survey flights.
