GainJet Ireland (GJI, Shannon) has added its maiden E190 Lineage 1000 in the form of EJ-IOBN (msn 19000632), ex-N730MM.

The Embraer business jet was repositioned to Shannon in mid-October and is a 3-year old, ex-Embraer Executive Jets (São José dos Campos U.E. Stumpf International) unit. It is also the first aircraft to sport the new type of Irish registration with the prefix EJ and four letters, which now complements the EI and three letters pattern.

As previously reported, GainJet Ireland, a subsidiary of Greece-based GainJet Aviation (GNJ, Athens), is currently in the process of adding its maiden B737-700(BBJ) as well. The Irish unit of the business charter specialist currently operates Bombardier Aerospace Challenger 550 and 650 jets, as well as a medevac-configured Challenger 604
