Unity Air (Ghana) (AFD, Accra) has secured its Air Operator's Certificate (AOC) from the Ghanaian Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) following a ceremony held in Accra last week.
Airline chief executive Bethel Donkor told the Ghana News Agency (GNA) that the start-up will soon commence operations using its only aircraft at present, E120 9G-AFN (msn 120340). Flights will cover Accra, Tamale, and Kumasi initially although Wa and Ho are also under consideration.
“We have one aircraft; a 30-seater Embraer 120 here already but we are looking to add another aircraft in the next month,” he added.
