this winter season. It has also already given up or not resumed its routes from Alghero to Bari, Brussels Charleroi, Genoa, Graz, Hamburg Lübeck, Paris Beauvais and Reus, from Alicante to Friedrichshafen, from Birmingham to Prague, from Bournemouth to Edinburgh and Reus, from Bristol to Perpignan, Toulon and Trieste, from Dublin to Billund, Hamburg Lübeck and Tampere, from Dusseldorf Weeze to Bratislava and Szczecin, from Edinburgh to Limoges, from Frankfurt Hahn to Bratislava, Granada, Hamburg Lübeck and Prague, from Girona to Doncaster/Sheffield, Durham Tees Valley and Granada, from Glasgow Prestwick to Oslo Torp, from Liverpool to Granada, from London Stansted to Angouleme, Friedrichshafen and Granada, from Madrid to Girona, from Milan Orio al Serio to Figari and Nantes, from Oslo Torp to Lodz, from Pisa to Lille, from Rome Ciampino to Venice Treviso and from Rygge to Stockholm Skavsta. It will temporarily suspend its routes from Birmingham to Murcia, Bologna Marconi to Bordeaux, Ibiza, Malaga and Wroclaw, Brussels Charleroi to Bari, East Midlands to Murcia, Glasgow Prestwick to Murcia, Leeds/Bradford to Murcia, Liverpool to Murcia and London Luton to Murcia for the winter season starting in early November. Ryanair will also temporarily close its Bournemouth base between November and February and not operate any flights from/to the airport in the meantime. It will not resume its routes from Bournemouth to Dublin, Ibiza, Malta, Murcia, Palma de Mallorca, Pisa and Valencia after the temporary closure. Ryanair will at the same time also terminate its routes from Aarhus to Alicante, Girona, Malaga and Rygge, from Alicante to Norrköping, Palma de Mallorca, Santander, Stockholm Vasteras, Valladolid and Växjö, from Billund to Alghero, Alicante, Brindisi, Edinburgh, Faro, Madrid, Malta, Marseilles, Milan Orio al Serio, Pisa, Trapani and Valencia, from Jerez de la Frontera to Frankfurt Hahn and London Stansted, from London Stansted to Katowice and from Tampere to Milan Orio al Serio and Riga. It will also give up all routes to Altenburg (currently served from Alicante, Girona and London Stansted), Budapest (currently served from Bristol, Dublin, East Midlands and Glasgow Prestwick), Prague (Dublin, East Midlands, Stockholm Skavsta) and Verona Brescia (Alghero, Cagliari, London Stansted) giving too high airport costs as the main reason. In other news, it has disclosed that it has exercised 10 options for additional B737-800s last December. Reportedly Ryanair has held initial talks with Brazilian low-cost carrier Webjet (WEB/Rio de Janeiro Intl) about a strategic minority investment in the carrier. Brazil is just adjusting its laws allowing minority stakes of up to 49% in Brazilian airlines. In other news, Ryanair has reportedly signed a letter of intent with Finow airport northeast of Berlin to set up a base at the airport in case the airport receives approval for scheduled passenger operations and builds a passenger terminal.
