KOM Airlines has firmed up a Letter of Intent (LOI) with Sukhoi Civil Aircraft (Zhukovsky) for six SSJ 100/95s by signing a firm order agreement.
According to the Russian manufacturer, the first of the 100-seater jets will deliver in autumn this year with the entire order to be fulfilled in 2020.
Once it has completed certification, KOM Airlines plans to use the SuperJets to run domestic Thai and regional Asian routes.
WishV, an MRO organization registered in Thailand, will be responsible for maintenance.
