Condor (DE, Frankfurt International) is planning to replace its 13 B757-300s and 12 A320-200s operated by subsidiary Condor Berlin (CIB/Berlin Schönefeld) by a mix of 30 new A320-200s and A321-200s that will be part of an order by Thomas Cook for all of its European leisure carriers, deliveries are expected to start in 2012. It has given up its routes from Frankfurt Intl to Grenada, Marsa Alam, Porlamar and St. Lucia, from Munich to Monastir and from Stuttgart to Djerba and Monastir while it has temporarily suspended its services to Antigua for the summer season. It will not resume services to Sharm el Sheikh from Hamburg Fuhlsbüttel, Hanover and Leipzig/Halle next winter season. Condor and Sun Express (XQ/Antalya) have been fined by the German antitrust agency for illegal price fixing on Germany-Turkey routes.
