Afrijet Business Service (J7, Libreville Leon M'Ba) took delivery of its first ATR72-600 on December 20, 2019, brokerage firm AELIS revealed in a statement.
On lease from Aergo Capital, 2-RLBQ (msn 1285) was last in service for Firefly (FY, Penang) as 9M-FIH. It was then ferried from Singapore Seletar via Kolkata, Ahmedabad, Abu Dhabi Bateen, Sharm el Sheikh, Irakleion, and Basel/Mulhouse/Freiburg, CH to Dinard/St. Malo between December 19 and 22 where it is undergoing pre-service entry maintenance ahead of its final ferry flight to Central Africa.
According to the ch-aviation fleets module, Afrijet operates two ATR42-500s and three ATR72-500s on scheduled passenger flights connecting Libreville with Port Gentil and Franceville/Mvengue locally as well as Brazzaville, Douala, Pointe Noire, and São Tome internationally.
