Transport Malta has granted galistair (Malta) (8S, Malta International) an Air Operator Certificate (AOC) and Operating Licence (OL), the carrier said in a statement.
The Maltese carrier is a subsidiary of Spanish virtual carrier galistair (Madrid Barajas).
According to the statement, galistair (Malta) has added A321-200 CS-TKU (msn 1607) to the Maltese register as 9H-VTB which will shortly begin operations under its "GTR" carrier code.
Until now, galistair had relied on Portuguese ACMI/charter specialist White (WI, Lisbon) to operate CS-TKU on its behalf.
