ASL Airlines France (5O, Paris CDG) has announced it will launch its first domestic scheduled passenger route, from Pau to Paris CDG, on June 10.
The ASL Aviation Holdings subsidiary will operate the service 4x weekly using one of its 147-seat B737-300(QC)s. The route will be supported by the Pau Béarn Pyrénées Agglomeration Community to ensure daily connectivity to the French capital. ASL Airlines France's flights will come on top of Air France (AF, Paris CDG) operations to provide at least one return flight on each weekday. The flag carrier will only operate the route 2x weekly starting on June 15, according to the ch-aviation schedules module.
Thus far, ASL Airlines France's only scheduled passenger services were from France to Algeria, Israel, Morocco, and Tunisia. The airline also operates passenger charter flights, as well as scheduled and charter cargo services.
The airline operates a passenger fleet of six B737-700s and two B737-800s. It also operates two quick-change B737-300(QC)s, two B737-300(F)s, and seven B737-400(F)s.
