Mwant Jet (Kinshasa N'Dolo) is gearing up to enter the Congolese scheduled services market following the delivery of its first E145 earlier this month.
Formerly 5N-BWQ (msn 145601) with Bristow Helicopters Nigeria (BHN, Lagos), 2-TEZK was ferried to Kinshasa N'Djili on August 7 and will be added to the Congolese register as 9Q-AYS.
Owned by local tycoon Gueda Amani Yav, Mwant Jet secured its Air Operator's Certificate (AOC) in November last year but has focussed on mining contract and charter flights both within the Democratic Republic of Congo and abroad using its Hawker 850XP.
