Elin Group is set to begin passenger charter operations after securing its Air Operator's Certificate (AOC) from the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) last week.
The Nigerian conglomerate said it currently has a fleet of Bombardier Business Aircraft Challenger 604 jets and AW109E helicopters. However, it also has three DHC-8-Q400s on order from De Havilland Aircraft of Canada (DHC, Toronto Downsview), which it plans to use to expand its existing operations and to support Nigeria’s oil and gas sector.
Aside from aviation, Elin Group also has interests in real estate development, power generation, agricultural development, gas utilization, mining operations, and the maritime sector.
