La Compagnie (B0, Paris Orly) has deferred its plans to launch non-stop flights between Milan Malpensa, Italy and New York Newark to early April 2022.
The all-business-class carrier originally planned to launch the route, its first to not originate in France, on November 29, 2021, operating 4x weekly. While it has not officially announced a postponement, its internet booking engine currently shows the first flight will take place on April 4, 2022. The airline plans to fly between Milan and New York 5x weekly using A321-200NX(LR)s, its only aircraft type.
The carrier's second new route, from Paris Orly to Tel Aviv Ben Gurion also did not launch as planned on July 22, 2021. La Compagnie rescheduled its start to November 5, 2021, even though the service was initially planned as summer-only. For now, La Compagnie's only active route is its trunk service between Orly and Newark, operated 6x weekly.
La Compagnie operates two A321-200NX(LR)s, seating up to 71 passengers each. Both aircraft are dry-leased from GECAS, the ch-aviation fleets ownership module
