flybe. (Birmingham, GB) has outlined plans to restart operations on April 13, 2022, and has launched ticket sales for its initial network spanning 16 airports in the United Kingdom and the European Union.
The regional carrier will gradually launch the following routes over the course of the second and third quarters of 2022:
- from its Belfast City base to: Amsterdam Schiphol (starting on May 28), Aberdeen Dyce (August 25), Birmingham, GB (April 13), Nottingham East Midlands (July 7), Edinburgh (June 23), Glasgow International (April 14), Inverness (August 25), Leeds/Bradford, London Heathrow (both April 28), Manchester International (July 7), Newcastle, GB (August 25), and Southampton (July 28), and
- from its Birmingham base to: Aberdeen (August 18), Amsterdam (April 28), Avignon Caumont, Brest Bretagne (both July 9), Edinburgh, and Glasgow (both July 28).
Additionally, the carrier will also connect East Midlands with Amsterdam (April 28), London Heathrow with Amsterdam (May 28) and Leeds Bradford (April 28), and Southampton with Avignon and Toulon (both July 23).
The carrier will operate all routes using DHC-8-Q400s. It has so far taken two units of the type with more to come. flybe. did not disclose its fleet target size.
