Delta Air Lines (DL, Atlanta Hartsfield Jackson) has accepted its first A321-200NX, N501DA (msn 10437), which was delivered to Atlanta Hartsfield Jackson from Hamburg Finkenwerder on March 24, 2022. It is expected to enter into revenue service in May 2022 although no schedules have yet been filed for the type.
The carrier has 155 A321-200NXs on order of which another 25 are scheduled for delivery by the end of 2022. The entire batch of 155 aircraft is due to be in place by the end of 2027. The aircraft will complement Delta's existing fleet of 127 A321-200s.
Delta's A321-200NXs will be outfitted for up to 194 passengers, including 20 in business class, 42 in premium economy, and 132 in economy class. All seats are outfitted with individual flight entertainment systems and Wi-Fi connectivity.
