TUI fly (Belgium) (TB, Brussels National) has wet-leased an A320-200 from Bulgaria's Fly2Sky (F6, Sofia) for two months until mid-June 2023.
LZ-FSB (msn 3055) was ferried from Sofia to Brussels National on April 21, 2023, and started operating on behalf of the Belgian TUI Group carrier the next day. The aircraft will remain based out of the Belgian capital for the remainder of the ACMI contract. Initial flights were operated by LZ-MDK (msn 1422).
TUI fly (Belgium) operates an in-house fleet of four B737-700s, two B737-8s, twelve B737-800s, two B787-8s, and four E190s. It also wet-leases another two A320s from SmartLynx Airlines Estonia (MYX, Tallinn Lennart Meri), the ch-aviation fleets module shows.
The contract is part of Fly2Sky's expansion push into the European markets. The Bulgarian ACMI/charter specialist, formerly known as VIA Airways, is increasing its fleet, having added its third A320-200, LZ-FSA (msn 4247), in late March (currently wet-leased to airBaltic), followed by LZ-FSB in late April 2023. The airline also operates two more A320-200s (one each wet-leased to Marabu and TAP Air Portugal) and one A321-200 (wet-leased to TAP).
