TUI fly (Belgium) (TB, Brussels National) took delivery of the first of three E195-E2s on May 5, 2023, following a short but "inconsequential" delay.
EI-GYW (msn 19020049) was ferried from Castellón de la Plana Costa Azahar to Brussels National still under the lessor's Irish registration. It will be re-registered as OO-ETB before entering service for the Belgian TUI Group unit. The other two E195-E2s are expected to deliver by the end of June 2023 and will replace the carrier's fleet of four E190s. They will be based out of Antwerp, a thinner market better served with regional jets than narrowbody aircraft. Thanks to the additional range of the E2s, the aircraft will be able to serve longer haul routes to destinations such as the Canary Islands, Antalya, and Crete.
All three E195-E2s are owned by AerCap and are ex-Belavia (B2, Minsk National) stock. The Belarusian carrier returned them due to European Union sanctions imposed in late 2021. The aircraft are of late 2020 and early 2021 vintage.
