CAA - Compagnie Africaine d'Aviation (Kinshasa N'Dolo) and its competitor flyCongo (Kinshasa N'Djili) have entered into a cooperation agreement in October that includes wide ranging commercial and technical cooperation between the two carriers. As of later this year, they are expected to jointly sell their services under the flyCAA (BU, Kinshasa N'Djili) brand. Although both carriers currently still operate independently, CAA is said to be planning to eventually acquire flyCongo. CAA currently operates three A320-200s, a Fokker 100 and four Fokker 50s on domestic services within the Democratic Republic of Congo while flyCongo operates two MD-82s on domestic flights and a single B767-200 that operates from Kinshasa via Lubumbashi to Johannesburg O.R. Tambo twice weekly.
