Southern Airways Express (9X, Memphis International) is set to begin offering flights out of Atlanta Dekalb-Peachtree to Destin Executive, Olive Branch, Birmingham, AL, Panama City Northwest Florida Beaches and Oxford, MS with effect from September 2. The carrier launched operations in July and operates a fleet of turboprops including three Cessna Caravans and one Beech (twin turboprop). It will be the only operator offering scheduled services from Dekalb-Peachtree airport and also launch twice weekly service from Knoxville Downtown Island to Olive Branch near Memphis from September 6, also becoming the first commercial operator at Knoxville's secondary airport.
