SAS Scandinavian Airlines (SK, Copenhagen Kastrup) is to tentatively retire its single B737-400 and four B737-500s before year end, AirlineRoute writes. The B737-400 is currently scheduled to be withdrawn with effect from December 20 with Oslo Gardermoen to Stockholm Arlanda the type's last flight. The B737-500s are also slated to be withdrawn on December 20 with Oslo Gardermoen to Copenhagen Kastrup the aircraft's last anticipated route. Currently the B737-400/500 is used on domestic Norwegian & Scandinavian operations as well as flights to the United Kingdom, France, Germany, and Switzerland.
