Líneas Aéreas Paraguayas (Asunción) is looking to launch its inaugural Asunción to Madrid Barajas flights in June, though this is contingent on the airline completing formalities laid down by the Paraguayan civil aviation authority (Dirección Nacional de Aeronautica Civil - DINAC).
A spokesman for the airline's backers, Aerolap, told Latin American newswire Entorno Inteligente that an unspecified 300-seater aircraft had already been sourced with a second in the process of being acquired.
Initial services will operate three times weekly, he added.
