Spring Airlines (9C, Shanghai Hongqiao) has increased its presence in Shenzhen on February 21 with the launch of flights to Zhangjiakou, Shenyang Taoxian International, and Hangzhou. All of Spring Airlines’ routes are served using single-class, 180-seat Airbus A320-200 aircraft.
Travel Daily Media reports the airline has also applied to the Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC) for traffic rights out of Shenzhen to Jeju in South Korea, Kota Kinabalu in Malaysia, Bangkok Suvarnabhumi and Phuket in Thailand.
All the new routes are expected to be operational from April this year.
