Tibet Airlines (TV, Lhasa) is planning to launch its first international services with a Chengdu Shuangliu to Kathmandu via Lhasa route later this year. No exact time frame for the route's launch was given.

The airline has now begun recruiting flight attendants in Chengdu who are fluent in either Tibetan or English.

Using a fleet of nine A320s, Tibet Airlines currently serves 23 destinations located throughout China.
