LFH - Luftverkehr Friesland Harle (Wittmund) and parent Frisia-Luftverkehr Norddeich (Norden) are set to merge into a single company with effect from November 1. According to airliners.de, the two airlines will then begin operating under the banner, FLN - Die Inselflieger (Norden).
LFH was acquired by FLN Frisia Luftverkehr in 2011, but continued to use its own branding.
The new company will operate a total of fifteen Cessna (single turboprop)s and BN-2s on flights from Norden and Harle to and from the East Frisian Islands of Juist, Wangerooge, Baltrum, Borkum, Wyk auf Föhr, Helgoland Düne, Langeoog, and Norderney. It also offers charter and sightseeing flights to northern Germany.
