Sharp Airlines (SH, Hamilton, VI) will discontinue its Hamilton, VI operations with effect from December airline managing director, Malcolm Sharp, has said. Owing to a decline in demand and grim future prospects, the carrier will, with effect from January next year, instead re-route services from Melbourne Essendon through Warrnambool and on to Portland, VI where prospects appear brighter.
Established in 1990, Sharp operates a fleet of Metroliners on both charter and scheduled passenger flights throughout Victoria, South Australia, and Tasmania.
