Sriwijaya Air's maiden B737-900(ER)s have been revealed as PK-CMO (msn 41712) and PK-CMP (msn 41843) - aircraft that were originally destined for struggling Russian operator, UTair (UT, Khanty-Mansiysk), but subsequently declined.
The jets were recently spotted at Seattle Boeing Field sporting the Indonesian carrier's full livery and have since been delivered to Sriwijaya which will sell the aircraft to Aergo Capital and lease them back.
Sriwijaya Air's order with Boeing (BOE, Washington National) for two -900(ER)s was announced during this year's Paris Air Show.
