HK Express (UO, Hong Kong International) has signed a firm agreement with Norwegian (Oslo Gardermoen) unit Arctic Aviation Assets (AAA) for the lease of twelve A320neo. The twinjets are sourced from the Scandinavian lessor's Airbus (AIB, Toulouse Blagnac) order book and are due for delivery between 2016 and 2018.
According to the AirFinance Journal, a second, separate agreement for ten 230-seat A321s was also signed albeit with an unknown lessor.
The Hong Kong based low cost carrier currently operates a fleet of thirteen A320-200s on flights to Cambodia, China, Japan, Thailand, South Korea, Vietnam, Taiwan, and Myanmar.
