Volotea (V7, Barcelona El Prat) has shelved plans to go public despite the issuance of an investor's prospectus this past week. An airline official told Bloomberg news that volatile market conditions had negatively affected investor demand resulting in the postponement. No revised dates were disclosed.

The Spanish LCC had sought to raise EUR150 million (USD163 million) to fund fleet renewal and growth expansion capital expenditure requirements.

As recently reported, Volotea is in the process of switching its fleet from Boeing (BOE, Washington National) to Airbus (AIB, Toulouse Blagnac) with its nineteen B717-200s set to be replaced with A319-100s.
