Golog Maqin Airport in Southeastern Qinghai Province has opened to all traffic following a near four year-long period of construction.
Effective July 1, China Eastern Airlines (MU, Shanghai Hongqiao) is its only known scheduled operator plying weekly flights to Xining on-board A319-100 equipment.
The airfield features a 3,800m-long primary runway and a 3,000sqm passenger terminal capable of handling 150,000 passengers per annum.
