Ariana Afghan Airlines (FG, Kabul) has put multiple stored aircraft and associated sundry spare parts up for sale with prospective buyers requested to submit offers by April 30, 2017.
According to tender documents seen by ch-aviation, the following stored aircraft have been put up for sale:
- 1 x A300B4-203 - YA-BAB (msn 180);
- 3 x An-24s - YA-CAH (msn 37308605), YA-CAJ (msn 87310810), and YA-DAL (msn 57310409);
- 1 x B737-400 - YA-PIE (msn 26086);
- 1 x B737-200 - YA-PIR (msn 23077);
- 2 x B727-200s - YA-AFS (msn 21388) and YA-FAM (msn 21088);
- 1 x B727-200(F) - YA-FAN (msn 21245).
The aircraft in question are understood to be in storage in Kabul. Their runner status should be confirmed by the prospective customer itself.
A variety of spare parts for An-24s, An-26s, Yak-40s, DHC-6s, A310, Tu-154Ms, B727-200s, B737-200, and A300B4s have also been offered up for sale.
The ch-aviation aircraft database indicates the state-owned carrier's operational fleet currently consists of two A310-300s (of which one is active) and three B737-400s (of which two are active).
