Asiana Airlines (OZ, Seoul Incheon) has taken delivery of its maiden A350-900 following a handing-over ceremony at Toulouse Blagnac on Monday, April 24.
On lease from SMBC Aviation Capital, HL8078 (msn 94) is one of four aircraft of the type that will be delivered from Airbus (AIB, Toulouse Blagnac) to the South Korean carrier this year. A further two are due in 2018.
The type's maiden service is scheduled for May 15 with flights between Seoul Incheon and Manila Ninoy Aquino International. Thereafter, flights to Hong Kong International are slated for May 16 followed by Osaka Kansai on June 15.
