flyadeal (F3, Jeddah International) has secured its Air Operator's Certificate (AOC) from the Saudi General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) ahead of its commercial launch later this month.
As previously reported, the budget carrier will commence operations on September 23, the Saudi National Day, using its only aircraft at present, A320-200 HZ-FAA (msn 7829).
A unit of Saudia (SV, Jeddah International), flyadeal will compete with flynas, SaudiGulf Airlines, Nesma Airlines (Saudi Arabia), and Sky Prime Aviation Services in the domestic Saudi passenger market.
