Azimuth (A4, Rostov Platov) has begun commercial operations following the completion of its first passenger charter flights last week.
In a statement, the start-up said its first commercial flight was Rostov Platov-Krasnodar-Ufa-Krasnodar on September 9/10 in support of a local football team. Operations are on-board SSJ 100/95 RA-89079 (msn 95128).
As previously reported, scheduled passenger flights from Rostov to Moscow Vnukovo will start on September 21. Thereafter, regular service to St. Petersburg, Novosibirsk, Ekaterinburg, and Samara Kurumoch will start in October.
