Bhutan Airlines (B3, Paro) has announced it has signed lease agreements with AerCap involving two 2010 vintage A319-100s.
The Bhutanese carrier's Chief Executive Officer, Phala Dorji, said in a statement the two aircraft will deliver between June and July 2018 and will be used to replace its two current A319s - A5-BAB (msn 1541) and A5-BAC (msn 1551) - whose four-year lease contracts with SMBC Aviation Capital expire in July 2018. The "new" jets will feature twelve seats in business class and 108 in economy.
Bhutan Airlines currently connects Paro with each of Bangkok Suvarnabhumi, Delhi International, Gaya, Kathmandu, and Kolkata.
