Cebgo (DG, Manila Ninoy Aquino International) has opened a base at Cagayan de Oro Laguindingan. Located in Misamis Oriental province, Laguindingan Airport acts as the gateway to Northern Mindanao, catering to Cagayan de Oro City and other neighboring areas including Iligan City, Marawi City, and Bukidnon province.

"What was originally the fourth destination launched back in 1996, is now a hub," Lance Gokongwei, President and CEO of Cebu Pacific Air (5J, Manila Ninoy Aquino International), said in a statement. "It follows the path of Manila Ninoy Aquino International, Cebu and Iloilo, also hubs. This is a testament to our long-standing commitment to contribute to nation-building and make air travel more accessible to Filipinos. We look forward to the effect our low fares and direct flights will have on Northern Mindanao."

Cebgo maintains bases at Cebu, Angeles City Clark International, Davao, Kalibo, Iloilo, Manila, and Zamboanga for use in operating forty-three routes to thirty destinations across the Philippines. Previously announced plans to begin international flights - from Zamboanga to Sandakan in Malaysia - on October 29 have been deferred indefinitely after the carrier said it needed to "work on operational details.”
