Contour Airlines (LF, Tupelo) will launch service connecting Oakland International with Crescent City in northern California on April 11, 2018, marking the entry of the regional and charter specialist to the scheduled market on the West Coast, ch-aviation schedule analysis has revealed.

The route will be operated 7x weekly with an Jetstream 31 on behalf of the company's parent, Contour Aviation.

According to the ch-aviation fleets module, Contour Aviation currently operates a single BAe Systems turboprop, a Jetstream 41, N42AX (msn 41084). The aircraft is deployed irregularly on the Smyrna-Manassas route on the East Coast. The carrier also operates two E135ERs, three ERJ-135LRs, two E145LRs, and one CRJ200ER.

Contour Airlines currently operates scheduled flights between Nashville International and Tupelo (30x weekly), as well as between Baltimore International and Macon Regional (12x weekly).
