Hi Fly (5K, Beja) has announced it will take delivery of its first A330-900 from Airbus (AIB, Toulouse Blagnac) in June 2019.
The Portuguese ACMI/charter specialist said in a statement the incoming jet was only one of ten that would be used to renew its and sister carrier Hi Fly Malta's combined fleet of one A321-200, six A330s, and eight A340s at a rate of one to two per year.
According to President Paulo Mirpuri, the -900 will handle 365 passengers in a three-class configuration (business class seats with flatbeds, high comfort premium economy, and standard economy).
"Upon client demand, the configuration can be changed at short notice to a full economy version seating 415 passengers. All seats will have the latest generation in-flight entertainment system installed," he said.
