Tsaradia (TDS, Antananarivo) has announced it has secured both its Air Operator's Certificate (AOC) as well as its Operating Licence (OL) from the Malagasy civil aviation authority (Aviation civile de Madagascar - ACM).

The Air Madagascar (MD, Antananarivo) unit is expected to commence operations in June this year, focussing on connecting various cities and towns across Madagascar. It will assume the operation of Air Madagascar's fleet of three DHC-6-300s, two ATR72-500s, and two ATR72-600s.

Tsaradia's launch is part of Air Madagascar's restructuring plan formed in conjunction with equity partner Air Austral (UU, St. Denis de la Réunion).
